By-gones

Did you ever watch Ally McBeal? I loved that show. So funny, witty, and a good play-out of how we feel inside sometimes. Ally was a smart, cute, and successful lawyer. She's a tough cookie, but her insecurities show from time to time, which leads her to do silly (sometimes borderline psychotic) things that are sometimes confusing to others/men.

The word "by-gones" was used often within the law firm that Ally worked in; it means "just let it go". I love that word! Such a quick and little word that can just make unpleasant moments and awkwardness between people melt away.
