Playing with the wide angle lens

Julian got me a ultra wide-angle lens, the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, for Christmas and I have been having a ton of fun with it.

For my 365 photo of today, we grabbed our tripod + camera case and headed to the Bay Trail by Kincaid's in Burlingame to take some shots. I had a hard time deciding between these two shots. What do you think?
