Discrimination

We have three hand-soap dispensers in the house. One in each of the two bathrooms, and one in the kitchen. The dispenser in the guest bathroom started malfunctioning in the last few months. Although one can clearly see that there's soap inside, the dispenser just has a lot of trouble dispensing the soap. It takes many pumps for soap to come out.

In the last few weeks, I've noticed that the the other two soap dispensers were having trouble with dispensing soap as well. And I grumbled to myself, "Why can't these soap dispensers just work? Do they all just stop working after some time?!" Then I started wondering whether there's something wrong with the brand of hand-soap we're using to re-fill these dispensers.

Turned out, the other two soap dispensers simply ran out of soap! It's interesting how one soap dispenser can cause me to discriminate against the other two.
