Satellite filled our cable modem with energy

We have been having intermittent issues with our Comcast cable. Our internet connectivity and TV cable have been cutting in and out for the last week or so. Yesterday, the problem became rather ridiculous. Connectivity were cutting in and out every 10 minutes.

So we decided to call Comcast - twice. The first rep I spoke with, told me that he has "pointed the satellite and filled our cable modem with energy." Just like He-man, "I have the power!"
